Birthday Time!
Today is my birthday. Every year it ticks by. Strange how time flies.
Britton got me an ice cream cake! (I love how Football and Kitty are in the background of this pic!)
Anyway, we didn’t do anything too crazy or exciting. But we went out to Farmer’s Inn with some of my family and friends yesterday.

Then today we decided to go out to Loveland for dinner and then to walk around Lake Loveland. It kind of felt like we were on vacation, especially being near the water.

Bonefish – I remember thinking that that was an ok restaurant and now I remember it as amazing! Fresh fish, lots of choices, Bang Bang shrimp! Dessert! Sounds like your day was pretty good!

Katrina, We’ve gone to Bonefish only once before on our anniversary last year. It was really good! We had the bang-bang shrimp too. This time, it wasn’t as fantastic as I remembered before -for instance, we had sides of tomato, basil and feta cheese. The tomatoes were advertised as “fresh, ripe summer tomatoes”. But they were pink, shipped in -no flavor tomatoes. Tomatoes are something you can’t fake. Thankfully we have a ton of plants and green tomatoes all over our yard, garden and greenhouse! But overall it was good. Good service, good food, a nice time.
My birthday weekend was really nice! Thanks for the warm thoughts.
