		<description>It IS amazing to pull back a worn out carpet to find hardwood floors.  One of our rentals had hickory floors in pristine condition.  Perhaps it was the warmth factor? 50 years ago people depended on wood, coal and oil heating, all kind of messy bothersome stinky and time consuming compared to natural gas.  Covering up the floors would have made the place a little toastier maybe?</description>
